Business Owners' Tax Newsletter
Need help with your business taxes?
If you don't know it already, small business owners (even those that produce pretty middle-class profits) are heavily burdened with federal and state taxes. As a result, business owners need to work hard and smart to minimize their taxes.
Unfortunately, managing and minimizing your business taxes is trickier than you might suppose.
You might think, for example, that a small business owner can get the information they need from the popular business newspapers and magazines that all seem to cover the new tax laws. But media coverage of new tax laws usually isn't presented in a way that gives a small business owner actionable advice. And what's more, the popular press simply doesn't cover of all the existing old tax law which also provides numerous tax-saving opportunities for savvy business owners.
Then there's your tax accountant of course. But regularly (and I say this as a tax accountant myself), a tax accountant often doesn't provide the help you need either. New business owners, for example, may not yet have located a good accountant. And even many experienced business owners don't get all the help they want from their accountants.
These realities--business owners needing tax help that they weren't getting--led me to publish a small handful of business owners tax newsletters. Specifically written for the business owner who wants to legally but effectively grind down his or her tax bill, each 4pp issue covers one, simple, powerful tax savings technique that's available to savvy small business owners. Each issue should save you anywhere from a few hundred dollars a year to thousands of dollars a year in taxes.
Here are currently available issues (see below). Also, note that as the new small tax planning gambits appear, I'll add to the list:
